Hearth

One encrypted conversation that remembers what it has been told, answered by an AI model.

// status

In development, and in closed beta. Hearth is open by invitation only. There is nothing to sign up for on this page and no waiting list behind it — it runs for a handful of people while it is being built.

Hearth is one long conversation rather than a run of sessions. It remembers what it has been told — in short notes anyone can read, reword or throw away — so nothing has to be explained twice, whether the last visit was last night or five weeks ago. Nothing in it keeps score: no streaks, no goals, no badges, no notifications.

It is also built to send people back to people. Users can name one to three people they would actually call, and those sit a tap away on every screen with the first sentence already written, sent from their own phone once they have read it.

Hearth is not therapy and not a therapist, and it is not a crisis service — nobody is watching what is written, and nobody is on call. It shows the crisis lines for wherever someone is, and it is meant to sit alongside the people and the help in their life rather than stand in for them.

What people write is encrypted. None of it is used to train a model, sold, or used to advertise, there is no tracking and no analytics, and an account and everything in it can be deleted from Settings in one go.
